| About your Tour |
A tour should be about more than just booking a flight, hotel and car. It should be about a carefully planned journey of discovery which meets and exceeds the expectations of the traveler.
It’s an opportunity for encounters with friendly local people with distinct cultures preserved through time honored customs; a time to escape from the normal rigmarole of everyday life; an opportunity for adventure and exploration and it’s a wonderful time to relax, sit back and inhale the beautiful environment that surrounds you.
As well as having offices in the United Kingdom, The Kerala Travel Center has an office in Cochin, Kerala. This gives us greater leverage in both providing more control over the quality of tours we operate and implementing our Responsible Travel Policy.
All of our tours featured in this brochure and on our website are private, contained individual tours. We also operate fixed date group tours throughout the year, so please enquire if this is of interest to you. |

What makes our tours unique?
Customer Service - On arrival and at each new destination on your journey you will be met at the airport, station or quay by a Kerala Travel Center representative, who will accompany you to your hotel, help with your check-in and discuss the itinerary for your stay. You will be given a 24-hour contact number providing you with the assurance and support that we are only a phone call away if you require our assistance.
Freedom - For all journeys you will have your own chauffeured vehicle with an English speaking driver at your disposal. You have the freedom to stop off along the way if you see something of interest and want to take a photograph, buy some sweet bananas, sample a cup of meter tea perhaps or simply stretch your legs during a long journey.
Private Guide - Depending on the requirements of the tour, you are accompanied by your own private English speaking guide. This means that you can ask as many or as few questions as you like and take sightseeing trips at your own pace.
Railway journeys - If your tour includes a train journey, your overnight luggage remains in the vehicle to be transferred to the accommodation you will be staying at that evening.
Tailor made tours
Whilst we feel that we have created a comprehensive range of tours to meet most people’s interests we are not so naïve to believe that these will satisfy everyone. We therefore encourage you to thoroughly research your trip and if there is anything you would like to add, change or extend on the tours we feature or if you would like to tailor-make your own from scratch, then we will assist you in doing so as part of our service.
Tour Classification
Your tours have been classified in to the following categories based on the type of accomodation featured:
Deluxe: Luxury class standards of accommodation and service, usually with an excellent range of facilities.
Superior: First class standards of accommodation and service, usually with a good range of facilities.
Standard: Comfortable accommodation, usually with limited range of facilities.
We love to be tested
Depending on your interests there is so much more to Kerala than we can possibly feature in our brochure or on our website. Previous requests from our clients have included school visits, fishing trips, village experiences, charity events, yoga classes and educational trips.
